About Spencer
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and a Minor in Information Science and Technology from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. There, I worked as an undergraduate researcher in the lab of Dr. Kallie Willets, performing super resolution imaging on silica nanoparticles. After a year-long endeavor in industry as a HPLC scientist, I decided to pursue a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Arizona. I am currently a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate, masquerading as a chemical engineer in the Laboratory for Interface Science of Printable Electronic Materials, under the supervision of Dr. Erin Ratcliff. I have a strong interest in science communication, scientific outreach, and utilizing data science tools for more reproducible research.
